Updated koth_highpass - Removed unnecessary detail props - Revised fade-distances - Turned some brushwork into props - Revised hints and skips - Added nobuild entity on the ramps in front of spawn - Improved cliff displacements - Revised some details and textures
Size is around 62 MB.

EDIT: In my defense, my ideal nerf would be no afterburn and less damage, but keep the 225 and the full HP restore, but maybe drop the whole uber thing and change it to -90% damage taken.

Make the health restoration to 50-75 hp instead.

Not really, it just makes it a really good defensive weapon. You'll have to have some kind of preparation before engaging enemies.
I feel like the Phlog change is going to encourage Pyros to stay behind their lines, farming flame damage with flares even more than it already did. That just makes it boring to use imo, I'd rather it encourage ambushing and smart play rather than spamming projectiles from a distance.

I'm glad that the phlog got nerfed this much.
[b]Not because[/b] it deserved to be nerfed to such an extent, but because it is better than continuing to play the game and being put up against players using questionably over-powered weapons for another year or two before someone at valve finally figures out a good way to balance it.
It sucks that they couldn't figure out another way to actually balance it, but it's better than joining a server to see people using it to troll in its (formerly) powerful state.
I think the biggest issue with rebalancing weapons is that they only do it once or twice a year, when it would be much better to attempt to rebalance at least one weapon on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. The way it is now, we get stuck with weapons that work one way for years, some working perfectly fine while others being useless or others being overused, then suddenly they release a patch where a bunch of weapons work entirely different out of the blue. About 40 weapons were adjusted in a single patch, where instead they should've been adjusted and implemented separately over time.

its better than the pyro being to able to charge headfirst into a group, and then get an instant clutch heal with their phlog and finish off the rest of the enemies

I'd rather just the thing doesn't fill the meter from secondary weapons at all, Pyros should be close-range guys rather than spam from a distance.

Sounds like you have a problem with the flare guns themselves, not the phlog.
Or it could just not make you fucking invincible on the taunt and be balanced just fine like it was before Valve gave it an insane buff.

Oh, that's not what I meant to imply. It's just that spamming flares is the easiest and safest option to fill MMMPH by a long shot, so that's what people do. Not exactly interesting gameplay.

Flare guns are fine, they're not enough to serve as a weapon on their own, they're just a way to pester people outside of flamethrower range.
The issue is that the Phlog is a flamethrower where you take on some risk by going into combat with a much weaker flamethrower with less defensive options for a while until you can build up crits and surprise the enemy... or you can just hide behind your team and spam for a little while until you get those crits for free.
Without the healing, going into combat with the Phlog instead of spamming flares from a safe distance isn't even viable anymore, you'll almost certainly be damaged enough that you'll be killed during your crits charge. It encourages playing Phlog Pyro the worst way possible.
edit: and I don't understand why people are upset about the invincibility changed, it makes little difference
all it means is that Spies and Demos have to wait a second before instakilling the Pyro, and dumb enemy Pyros can't airblast the Phlog and give him a few extra seconds of crits
the healing pre-Tough Break was pretty much invincibility already

Phlog was ruined from the beginning
The Phlog changes really do feel like Valve bending to people complaining about it because they don't know how to play against it

Not because it was op, I just hated it as a weapon design.
I think it would've been better if they didn't allow secondaries to add to the MMPH meter and made it give you half health.
The mentality to nerf something so hard that nobody wants to use it anymore has ruined a fair share of weapons in this game.
