Okay, so I started my Fallout 3 character without an account for Windows Live. My problem is that I wish to get the DLC (Down-Loadable Content) for this game but I want to play them with my current character. Is there any possible way to port my save games over to a Window Live account? Please help me. :saddowns:
But if I remember right, fallout doesn't care if you have live or not, saves will be still there.
When I made my account my saves were not there, I couldn't even click the "load" button. I thought you could only get DLC from Windows Live. I am using the Steam version if that helps.
snip
You must have snipped when you saw that I had the Steam version. :v: [editline]02:01AM[/editline] Come on guys if I can't do it can you at least tell me?
Pretty sure the save files are just in a username folder inside a 'Fallout 3' folder inside 'My Games'. I think it's 'default' if you don't make a profile. Look in Documents for My Games..

Although the OP has sorted out his problems, I'll actually post the solution. Simply copy and paste your saves from your root saves folder (Documents\My Games\Fallout 3\Saves) into your windows live saves folder (Documents\My Games\Fallout 3\Saves\*Your Username*). If you've just installed FOSE or Xliveless, then you need to do this the other way around in order to play your character.
