So today I've played Postal 3 Demo version on Igromir, big game exhibition hall in Russia. Well I've heard that Postal 3 is based on Source Engine, so i've messed with console a little and found out that Running With Scissors forgot to remove Gravity Gun from game. Phail.
Well it cannot attract props and pick them up but can punt very well.

---Edit---
Made gravitygun able to pick up and throw stuff just like hl2.
Better quality and longer video of me messing with console. Filmed by my friend, suFF.

Hnnngggg. :argh:
I love Postal and Running With Scissors. But between getting their dog out of jail, making Postal III and buying strippers for their mailing list - I have no idea how this company is still in business and "making" games.
Those look like some very good player animations for a source game.
Gogol Bordello's music is playin in the background
looks like a mod.
i'm really dissapointed.
Well The original Gold:Source engine for HL1 had parts of the original Quake code in it. Its all carry over, granted this is a little more blatant.

The thing is that Source itself doesn't contain the Gravity Gun sourcecode in a usable manner. Only games derived from HL2 directly. So this really does make it look like a mod.
I'm surprised this is still in development. Its been ages.
I read the title as "Portal 3 Demo GravityGun"
I was like what.
I cant wait for loadingscreens every 2mins.
I thought it said 'Portal 3'. And I saw funnies, instead of dumb ratings. Was wondering what was up but then I realized it was Postal 3.
It runs on source, I forgot about this and now I am disapointed again
Source? No buy, As much as I love valve and source, Postal shouldn't run on it.
Source? No buy, As much as I love valve and source, Postal shouldn't run on it.
Thirdperson games in general shouldn't be done on Source. It's like using Gamebryo, just without the crashing every 5 minutes.
I wonder if there's a way to play in first-person using the console like alien swarm?
What Gogol song is that? I'm like his biggest fan.
I wonder if there's a way to play in first-person using the console like alien swarm?
Probably works but it won't be pretty since the game will not have view models.
Postal should've stayed first person.
And fun > realism.
I'm looking at you, GTA:IV.

i do not think badger saws equate realism
i do not think badger saws equate realism
Or cat silencers
now you guys are bitching just to bitch, there is nothing wrong with Postal on source, and there is nothing wrong with 3rd person games made in source.
mmmm Gogol Bordello.
at least it'll be easier to put postal 3 models in garry's mid
now you guys are bitching just to bitch, there is nothing wrong with Postal on source, and there is nothing wrong with 3rd person games made in source.
But there is something wrong with Postal being in third-person on source.
Source? No buy, As much as I love valve and source, Postal shouldn't run on it.
I agree. Whoever made the decision to make this on source should be made run with scissors until they trip, fall and land with the scissors in their face.

No, there is. But as well as that it's a terrible choice to use source for the maps. Source maps can't be as open and big as they should be for a game like this. As someone mentioned before I can see a lot of loading screens.
