Ok me and my friend downloaded FEAR Combat from their website, installed and patched it. We can join other peoples servers just fine, but we can't connect to eachothers.
We even tried what we tried on diablo 2 using hamachi where my friend who hosted turned off his firewall (we both suck on portforwarding and whatnot so :P), and that worked through diablo.
Now we don't know what to do really, its a fun game but it sucks joining a server full with other people when all we wanna do is 1 vs 1.
Anyone got any ideas of what seems to be the problem and if it is the firewall or something messing it up are there any easy guides of how to make it work.

Also did you create a LAN server or an online server?
We tried both online and lan/online using hamachi.

Well just tried the [url]http://portforward.com/[/url] thing, didn't even find the same router we use but tried a similar one and well the static IP thing I couldn't find out how to do so I guess I'll have to wait for my older brother who's better with computers to fix it, which will probably take ages. :/
Kinda annoying how like every game require you to do stuff, once you buy it you should be able to play right away. :P
