I always had a problem with the "Valve South is making L4D2 while Valve works on Ep3" claims, but I never knew what it was. I guess my psychic powers were at work. Although it's likely that the ex-Valve South team are still the guys working on L4D2 while another team works on Ep3.
I hope turtlerock valve will now be more valve in making sequels.
I hope that AI guru is whipping up a nice surprise for EP3.

I mean, antlions/antlion guards/zombies don't need real AI. Striders/Gunships/Helicopters/Dropships need nodes to do anything.
Citizens and Combine Soldiers could use a vast improvement. Like hiding behind props and walls and actually utilizing them, rather than running out to shoot 5 rounds and reload.
Running RIGHT out, exposing their whole body.

All of Valve is now only 2 or 3 hours from where I live.

They would have to implement a system where it'd distinguish accidental friendly fire and deliberate friendly fire. They could add a certain damage threshold, when x damage is done by you in y seconds, it becomes hostile. Friendly fire damage would heal over time.

so basicly they all moved out of the dusty little aprartment that turtlerock used to won and now they don't have to use IM to collaborate on projects.
i will still veiw them as valve south becuase thats where the came from.

you could say "the former valve south (or turtlerock) employees are far less competent then the origonal valve company employees."

No, but they made Condition Zero, ported the original Counter-Strike to Xbox and made some maps for Counter-Strike: Source.
Give us some nice AI for EP3, please. Combine fights will be more interesting then.

Valve is only about 10 hours away from me by plane (including waiting in the terminal and stuff)
