all my valve games i have take a long time to load and i know its not my computer. Because i have a friend with a worse computer who gets in any source game servers faster. When it is loading it will freeze at retreiving server info for a long time. Then freeze at each bar of sending client info for like 2 mins each its getting annoying.

What are your computer's specs and when was the last time you updated your drivers?
pentium d,, D cpu 2.82 ghz and 1.00 gigs of ram with a 9800 g card
