I just got wotlk What I do have is: 377 Skinning 290 Enchanting (Working on it now) - 375 Cooking 375 Fishing 100 First Aid - I'm a level 70 Blood Elf Mage on Stormage.
Sell any raw materials you collect. Eneded up making over 5000g just selling leather and raw ore. :O Took me about 2 weeks though... :( Then again I have Wotlk and I skin and mine in Icecrown so it might take longer for you depending on the price for raw materials are there.
Straight off the bat, I haz no wotlk. What I do have is: 375 Skinning 230 Enchanting (Working on it now) - 368 Cooking (About to be 375) 362 Fishing 100 First Aid - I'm a level 70 Blood Elf Mage on Stormage.
Farm your arse off with skinning and cooking and sell everything you make. I'd also advise you stop leveling enchanting since the bc enchants really arn't wanted anymore and just leveling it a huge money sink, especially if your buying all your mats off the AH.
Why wouldn't you have WotLK?
Not all of us have endless finances.
Not all of us have endless finances.
It's like 20 dollars
It's like 20 dollars
50$ Yeah I know I should use my skills, but where? Sorry, I didn't specify that in the OP.
40$ broheim.
Get a hard copy for like $20 at some bargain store. Who cares if it has smoke damage, you just need the key.
Disregard the price, this thread is about BC and how to make money. You do have enchanting, and you can make some money. How? Even at 375 as a max? Mongoose, thats how. On my server, the Vellum with it on sells for 500-600g, dropping down to a minimum of about 350g-400g. Now the matts, generally cost 250-350g, give or take the 100g. I pick up matts when and where I can on various alts, typically for the lower region, then whack it on a Vellum and trade channel sale it. I can get anywhere between 450-550g from selling via trade, or the aforementioned price on the auction house. Also, Timberbaw Hold rep for 25 Agility @ 2H'er, 15 Agility @ 1H'er. With the introduction of the BoA weapons people are increasingly looking for a nice enchant to stay with them for however long. I have both of those and charge 25g fee for each of them. If they ask why, I simply mention Timbermaw rep, and if they understand then they've probably a. Not asked the question b. Heard of it before and forgot. Occasionally you'll get some who don't want to pay, but they're generally ones who wouldn't come back to you anyway even if you lowered the fee to say 15g. You could also buy, depending on the price, the 29/30 Spellpower on weapon enchant which, I believe, drops from the AQ's. Not entirely sure but I've sold the 30SP formula on the AH for 1.5k last week, and the 29SP one about 2 months ago for 3k. Chances are this one isn't gonna be possible if you're trying to make money in the long term, so instead see previous points. If you could somehow get JC to the desired level to prospect Saronite Ore, then you're onto a winner immediately, thats if Scarlet Ruby's sell for about 50g (if the ore is approx 15-25g per stack), then the rest varying between 10-30g. Good luck.

Go to Elwynn Forest (assuming your'e ally) and kill anything with skin (especially the deers). Sell the Light Leather on AH. Undercut the other light leather. Works for me.

wotlk was $30 for me to make money, i solo as many old raids as i can. each boss in zg drops ~25g + blues/epics and i can clear it in less than an hour. thats around 200g per clear. then you can move on to MC, which gives a few hundred per clear too. if you have good enough gear, you can do kara also, which is ~50g per boss including drops. after that it's just farming saronite and dailies. but hey, you're a 70 mage. you can't do that. /dance farm sunken temple for rugged leather, sell it for a ton
Crusader. Orbs are 10g each, shards are 3g each. ~32g for the mats. The scrolls sell for about 80g average.
True sir, very true indeed. I did feel like I had forgotten something. Fiery also sells OCCASIONALLY. However only idiots buy it (me, for my level 1's)
I now have wotlk and I updated my skills in OP.
get to 80, do dailies, skin everything
get to 80, do dailies, skin everything
I never do dailies. Call me lazy or stupid or whatever, but I've always made good money without them.
Yep. Unless its for rep, I never did them. I just find the Northrend ones horrible. They're all over the place and without Epic flying (I think 5k is a complete shit-waste, not that I don't have the money) it takes ages to fly with 60%.

Epic flyer has made my farming 10x quicker and will also make those dailies much easier. It'll quickly pay off itself.
I make money on the AH and by leveling alts. The quickest money maker? A DK. Just 80 it, delete it, repeat. Like 5k.
I never do dailies. Call me lazy or stupid or whatever, but I've always made good money without them.
i did them to level up and to get argent tourny mounts. the stuff from Venture Bay was pretty useful too, im still using the tanking cloak
