Requiem: Bloodymare - Games

[b]Requiem is a new MMORPG that is not only free, but fun.[/b] Link to download/register - [url]http://www.playrequiem.com/index.aspx[/url] At first i was skeptical, I thought it was going to be another badly done korean mmo, But it's genuinly fun. Their are many environments from Cold wastelands to the warm breeze of the desert, You start off in a wasteland, if you will, With scattered enemies and scorched earth, It's not a great place to start, doesn't give great impressions as far as colors go but you soon get out of it! [b]Here are a few features to wet you're tongue!:[/b] Extreme ammount of gore and ragdolls, The great thing that makes combat satisfying is the ragdolls and gore, Blood squirts everywhere, You can chop limbs off enemies, bludgeon their skulls and much more! Nothing more great than dueling it out in a PvP arena with a giant hammer only to smash you're opponents skull so hard he goes tumbling across the floor in true ragdollyific stle., After you kill an enemy a random piece of him/her/it will decap and fly accross the battlefield, great fun to watch! Beast progression system, every class has an "Inner beast" if you will, and you can unleash it, change it and level it. Huge battles, So you think WoW's 40v40 is good? Try 100vs100! That's right, large scale battles, oh what joy. I can't wait to start shredding blood, gore and hopefully tears in these huge battles. DNA system that lets you customize you're character's every stat at will, It fits nicely but often feels tacked on, But it's great to mess around with, Who knew a spell casting warrior could be so good.. Y AXIS! Oh yes, you can jump, fly old style planes ( Controlling them, weirdly actually feels like your flying a plane ) and all types of flying move. Scary enemies, Well, not that scary, but theirs a few " What the fuck is that i don't even " monsters around. Group zones, basically a fancy way of saying dungeons, From obstacle courses to puzzles! [b]Races:[/b] Turan: Turan 1st jobs are: Defender - You're tanky type people but can do damage Templar - You're tanky type people that use magic and what-not. Turan 2nd jobs are: Commander - They lead battles, Use AoE buffs like motivators and stuff to help the raid/party/group. Protector - Full on tank, lots of health, big shields. You get the idea. Tempest - Electric based magic class thingies. Radiant - Healers. They look like humans, I don't know much else about them :X. I'll add more races later, promise! Now for some pictures! I tried this out a while ago but me and my friends decided to play Rohan instead. it was alright I guess. if you guys are going to group up though I'll play it again. add me on steam, try devryl and if that doesn't work try Jest.

You have a choice where you start. The icy wastelands or the desert thing. Also, I re-downloaded this for 18 hrs, but it can't connect to the server. Ever. Ah, damn.

Crescent is where I started, the icy place. last time I played I started in some wastelandish shithole.

I played this ages ago and it was incredibly strange, like at first your a little weirded out by the fact that all the humans at the character creation screen are wearing weird silk underwear, and then you notice that one race always wears nothing but high heels fishnets and short shorts regardless of gender. I stopped playing altogether when i saw someone dressed as a playboy bunny riding around on like a giant goose or something because they payed to do so.

Downloading now.

An MMO with ragdoll physics :banjo: I played for about 2 motnhs and got bored, sorta gets pointless at level 25+

It was fun but, well yes definatly weird, it also got kinda repetative.

Bumped because i didn't want to make a new thread. Ok, i'm downloading it now, at a lovely speed of 12kB/s How many people actually play then? Reviews say there wasn't a big community in 2008... so has it got any better or worse?
