I should know because I'm one of the people who got their DiRT 3 copy revoked.

Unless they used the key next to the cd key, and put that one to the ATI voucher site and got their key from there.

They didn't. I know people who used that method and still have their Steam copies. AMD can only differentiate between legitimate and illegitimate redeemed keys based upon whether or not the used keys were sent out via email.
