It's a terrible game, don't play it unless you can't afford better.
Mad lab stopped supporting this after the minimum contract length so there's a change there aren't any solutions
Can you guys just fucking stop with the ranting? What if he wants to play it and get his own opinion on it? Now stop it and start helping...

Idiot i posted at the same times as you.
Not sure why the error message is appearing, but the main problem is it's Empire Earth 3, the worst game in the series and one of the worst RTS games of all time.
None of these comments help me.
Indeed.
The problem is it is finding the wrong version of binkw32.dll than the one it expects. Hence why it can't find an entry point in the dll it is expecting.
Remove that binkw32.dll file from system you placed there, explore your Empire Earth 3 DVD, and look for the binkw32.dll file on that. If/when you find it, copy it to where you installed Empire Earth 3. Try putting it with the executable itself, or if it has a "bin" folder or other similar folder with dlls in it.(specifically, dlls that are not part of the game, like DirectX or OpenAL or Miles Sound System dlls - you can usually tell by their filenames)
Sorry I can't be more specific, but I don't own Empire Earth 3.

There isn't a binkw32.dll on the DVD :C
Stop trying to play it.
You're just going to wish you hadn't in the end, all of this trouble you're going through is going to end in tears when you finally do play it.

That isn't helping me fix it.
Download the DLL and place it in
C:\program files\EMPIREEARTH3DIRECTORY\exefiledirectory\

Same problem.
Did you install the latest DirectX?
still doesnt work
Pfft, i'm getting the same problem too.
There are no terms vile enough to describe how bad EE3 was. I'd consider your technical issue a blessing, or perhaps an omen.
Anyway... You'll need this file...http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?binkw32 and place it in the main game folder. Delete the old one first. That *should* fix it.
There isn't one in the game folder.

Ok, is it in any of the subfolders? You could do an Explorer search for the file and just replace it wherever it appears.
