I downloaded seads demo browser some time ago and decided to make a video. Now I want to make a demo file .avi and when the TF2 window starts and I start recording everything is so slow! There is no sound when I have the TF2 window opened either so I think it might be the program that is slowing everything down.
Is it supposed to be like this or should it be like recording with normal FPS and should I hear sounds?
Also: posted in this section because it's for all source engine games not just TF2

I think it's supposed to be recording slow now. The video is 4 gb(!!!). It's huge

The file is corrupt, woohoo.
If you can't stand playing the game at 4 FPS while recording, try recording a demo in the console, playing it, and then running the recording software while watching said demo. Works wonders.
I've been doing that, that is why I'm wondering if it should be so low fps. I recorded the demo with sourcetools and when I try convert using SEADS demo browser everything goes super slow and if I convert longer than 4 seconds the file get 2 gb and it can't be watched.
