Just wondering. Tried to play some today and couldn't access their servers.
My brother was playing today, so no.
I see. Good to know then.
I played it once awhile back
Was full of people constantly throwing you to the floor and not letting you move.

Sounds like a gay bar

It was as fun as a gay bar
AKA not at all
I still play like once a week.....not nearly as often as I used to though. I've witness so many changes to it...good times.....and bad times. I hate how Konami doesn't release any new gear in the item shop; it's just sales and it's been that way for like the past fricken 8 months.
Speaking of MGS online, why did they close the servers down for MGS3?
I have the first 3 games, and I really really wanted to play MGS3 online but apparently the servers went down years ago.
MGO is still online, and still very active, but it's just filled with people who don't play anything but it and just instantly headshot you as soon as you walk around a corner.
It's not very fun anymore.

Are you kidding me, that sounds really fun :3:
I've played the psp mgo one week ago, it's still alive.

They were taken down for MGS4.
MGO is not that fun imo. I used to play it. Lost 2 controllers to rage induced by it.
The game is full of clan members who play the game 24/7 and headshot you without even a thought.
Less about fun, more about you having godlike reaction times.
Also, survival is full of lagswitchers and Konami doesn't do shit about it.
Even with the people that play it way too much, i'll play it once a week or so

I remember when they first went down. I felt like playing Subsistence online and when I connected I kept getting a DNS error. I did a little digging around and discovered Konami cut support. :saddowns:
I have had mgs 4 for about a year and every time i try to join a game it says there are non. sadly I have not played even one mgs4 game online to this day :(

You aren't missing much
Great game, horrible community. I can say this safely as someone who has something like 500 hours logged onto it.
Also I can't seem to host in MGO regardless of my network configuration.
Otherwise I'd be up for hosting a FP private match or something, would probably be more fun.
I wish MGO had less frame rate lag and a better combat system. Everyone using the M4 Custom and instantly headshotting everyone gets boring quick. This could had been so much better come to think about it. I've played at least 200 hours on it. xD
As soon as Metal Gear Online Forum died. I think everyone started leaving. Good times. Such as the Scotland vs Ireland game... Then there was the bad times, such as lagswitching, death looping and 2 the max.
Why did konami have to patch the good old box cancel glitch? That made MGO what it was. I miss being able to blow some poor sod away with my shotgun and then putting him to sleep before he got up.
I love my shotgun. <3 (Thats probery the first and last time i'll use that heart emote.)
