[XBOX 360]How many times have you gotten the red ring of death? - Games

I just fucking got it again today. I've gotten it twice, one today, and one last year. And I'm so fucking annoyed about it. So yeah this is a poll thread, you can post how many times you got it and what you plan to do with it, I'm sending it to Microsoft, but if they say "Your warranty expired" or some gay shit like that, I'm planning to sue and going to make a YouTube video of smashing it.

Twice, it always seems to happen when you say that you've never gotten one a week or so before.

had it since release, no problems.

Back in 08, Christmas, 360 Redringed me,sent it off under warranty to get fixed Redringed me 3 months ago, reckoned it was broke, Didn't bother playing it for about a month, Went back on and it was fine.

Got it a second time a few weeks ago, the last time was back in 2007. I would have been angry, but they repaired it for free.

Once, got it fixed for free, then my brother spilled coke on it. Now I have an Elite.

Got it once while playing Crackdown. Haven't gotten any problems yet, except it's really loud.

Bought it on release and had no problems until two weeks ago when I had to ship it in. I'm just glad it was free.

I've had my 360 since it was first released and I've never had one.

I had it once but it turned out that I had just nudged the power cable slightly and caused some sort of malfunction (it wasn't plugged in very well.)

Funny, I've had a 20gb pro from early 2007 and it still hasn't red ringed.

none but 3 disk reading errors and 2 graphic card failures., 6th xbox has been played once so I don't even know if that one is dead yet :ohdear: well ventilated and all. They just die on me. Always managed to do a straight swap at game for a brand new each time too.

And that, kids. Is why I love my good old Nintendo 64. You can spill a can of coke on it and it will work just fine.

Twice, I won't be getting another Microsoft console.

4 times so far, but I have successfully disassembled, fixed, and reassembled it everytime.

4. It wrecked my Oblivion, Splinter Cell Double agent, Phantasy Star Universe.

Had it happen 3 times, but it wasn't a big deal. It was replaced at no cost and i got my xbox back within a week. First was a regular xbox 360 Second one was a regular xbox 360 3rd one was a xbox elite. I'm on my 4th one right now but most of the problems have been fixed and i'm not to worried about it. As long as it is RROD they'll replace it for free.
