I'm seriously looking forward to this game, and I was wondering if anybody had any rumors or news that have been roaming around the internet.
The only thing I've heard, was it is being released in November 27th, 2009.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It's his series, he isn't working on it though. He's working on PeaceWalker and Castlevania

Ugh, Peacewalkers is pissing me off. More time being spent on a portable game, rather than a console game is just plain wrong.
It's not really a metal gear game. It's an action game which I bet will play a lot like Ninja Gaiden. Hence the name Metal Gear Rising instead of Solid #
It said in the teaser:

It's a stealth game.
It is MGS:R, but It's not being worked on by Kojima, the mastermind of the series, and I think it will be more of an action game. It's Multiplatform on PC, PS3 and 360.
Rising has been a confirmed stealth game.
Then why would they remove tactics and espionage from the title. I'm pretty sure it's not

Didn't heard anything yet. Also the fact it says Lighting Bolt Action instead Tactical Espionage Action makes me fear this game will be the first MGS that is going to suck. [img]http://d2k5.com/sa_emots/frown.gif[/img]

afaik it's a partially new and vet team working on it, someone has got experience with MGS
unconfirmed but isn't cowriter from 3 and co-director from 4 working on it? shuyo Murata?
still Kojima has stated he is partially involved stepping a little further into the project than just a producer.
