Good Single Player games to buy?

What do you suggest for good single player games? I like FPS, or shooting games, not in to mid evil crap. I already own Fallout 3 by the way.

Maybe also Crysis Warhead, I recently played it and it was pretty fun.

I'll look into Bioshock. I just bought this one called 'Cyrostasis.' Looks scary as fuck and I don't think my computer can handle it, but I heard it has an interesting story.
