If I uninstall STALKER will my saves remain?

I uninstall STALKER. I reinstall it a few months later. Will all my save files still be there or will I have to play the whole game through again?

Depends on if the game deletes your save games, back them up just in case.

Did you delete the STALKER-SHOC/CS/COP folder inside your Shared Documents? If not, your save games still remain.
