True but it'll take a long time for me to get ep 1 and 2 because my parents bought me L4D2 a month ago.

Well Ep1+Ep2 are $25 together and portal is $20 dollars. The orange box is $30. It's still cheaper to get the orange box. Just gift out your extra copies of tf2, hl2, and everything.
Unfortunately you don't get extra copies for TF2, not sure about Ep2 and HL2.

I find that hard to believe. I had extra copies of Hl2, Ep1, and HL2:DM when I bought the Orange box on top of it. Why would TF2 be any different?
Only certain games give you "extra copies" when you buy them again in packs. As far as I know the only games that allow this are HL2, HL2 Ep 1 and games you buy in clan/four packs.
