With every game I'm looking forward to several months away, I thought it would be nice to look backwards for a change. I realized that I have overlooked several great games like Shadow of the Colossus and God of War II (both of which I recently bought and played) over the past few years. Any suggestions for other great games that I may have missed?

PS2 action-RPG which was highly underhyped. I also just got God of War 2 last year, and I got DC2 this summer due to some people recommending it really strongly. I was not disappoint.

I played the first one and almost beat it. I was at the last dungeon when a friend accidentally deleted it.
Also I'm thinking of trying Metroid Prime and MGS2.
Metroid Prime is an INCREDIBLE game. If you have a Wii you should get the Metroid Prime Trilogy pack that's coming out.
