Hm. Does it do this for ALL HL1 engine games or HL2 engine games too.
My DoD and DoD source have never had problems. Nor CSS etc.
Restart Steam.

Oddly enough this works, thanks.
Master pipe connection error is always fixed by restarting. I remember when it first came around, and no one knew how to fix it.
