Who remembers this lovely game? Anyone still have their copy? If anyone has it maybe we can setup a multiplayer game sometime!
What ever happened to road rash, the 3d versions sucked. Suprised a next gen version hasnt been made yet :(
This game has made me forever scared to be near bikers on the road.
Oh god, this game was amogst my first games that I really loved. I had so much fun with it. SO MUCH FUN! I love it, it's sad that there is no next gen ver. All the other ones sucked. I didn't know that the game even had multiplayer, awesome. Back in the day, pirating games was so easy so my cousins just gave me a pirated disc so I can't play online. Not that I can find it. :v: Also, this is the first Road Rash, is it not? Or is it the fourth? (Looking at the thread title)
I loved the original Road Rash, damn that was fun. Gotta love my trusty old chain.
I remember my brother borrowing the first Road Rash for our MegaDrive (Genesis), I remember how awesome the game was.
I remember playing somethong like this years ago, only so far i remember it was with choppers and fat stereotype biker guys

Needed more tracks though iirc.
Used to like playing the latest one in multiplayer..at least I think it was multiplayer. Used to make a chainwhip death sandwhich with my friend on splitscreen. We'd ride up either side of some unfortunate fellow and beat his ass into the asphalt with chains. :D
I used to have this, then my grandma got rid of it because "It was too violent" of course that was when it was new.
Holy fucking shit, i was addicted to this game as a kid. I miss it as shit
The jailbreak was fun to play with friends for a few round.
Oh man. Nostalgia attack. The Mega drive version that is. (Genesis to you americans) I played this as a kid. I loved taking a chain and beating a cop with it. The music...
I remember this game I once crash into some chickens on the road with my bike on Road Rash 3 Good times. Good times
I love this game. I was playing the N64 version just last night actually :v:
I remember playing this game on the PS1. Confusing, but fun.

So many good memories from buying it at Staples to playing it at home as a kid. . . It's the fourth Road Rash game that was produced, if I'm not mistaken.
I used to have this, then my grandma got rid of it because "It was too violent" of course that was when it was new.
Bahah I'm sorry but that's pretty funny. Today people are so desensitized that a blown off head on the TV screen doesn't phase them. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing.
Same here: I was just handed a copy with Road Rash written in sharpie on the front and didn't think twice. But man was this game fun. While the menu music and the jukebox has some bad ass songs that go well with the game, the in-game music SUCKS ASS. Well, it's good for a nostalgia attack like someone else had, but when I'm racing at over 120 MPH through a city with cars, pedestrians, and 13 other riders, I don't want to hear any computerized bass guitars and drums in the background. It just kind of dampers the feel of the game. [editline]12:28PM[/editline] So some of you had copies of the game, huh? I think I'd like to make one too... Does anyone know how I can make a copy of it for myself?
I don't think any of the PC games ever had copy protection, so you could use Alcohol 120% to rip the images no problem. This is legal if you're making a copy for yourself, but once you give it to a friend it loses the legality aspect.
I used to have this on the megadrive. The only one my dad ever sold :(
had this on amiga it was totally tits
I remember desperately wanting this game, going looking for it in loads of shops and gave up and bought a Jurassic Park game or something. 7 year olds have short attention spans and don't realise that big game shops don't stock old things.
I loved this game! Unfortunately my old PC chewed up my disk for it, but I still play it a lot on my PS1 emulator for PSP.
Who remembers the super-bikes? The ones that went too fast and were impossible to steer. I ended up running into a railing near the edge of the water, and was surprised to find that they render the ocean quite a ways out.

Do not talk of other bike games in the light of the awesome Road Rash. They are not worthy.
Omg the Nostalgia...
I had the original on PS1, I remember playing it round my friends and loving it smashing people with chains at 120 mph. I played it a few weeks ago on my PS3, man I sucked, when my friend crashed I told him to run to the end...we were running for ever after some time I was begging him to turn it off :crying:
They need to make another one, except make sure it doesn't suck ass. We all know how sequels to good old games usually work out. Excluding Valve games.
This was amazing, you couldn't even control the end bike and you could use a moped.
I loved the '64 version. It was the first game I got for it. When I first saw this thread, I thought another Road Rash was in the works. I almost came. We need to figure out who owns the IP for Road Rash and make a petition. A sequel is direly needed.
Fucking nostalgia man, I played hours of Jail Break.
