Most of you know or have played this game, but I havnt and I am trying to.
I am running it on a Vista Bussiness 32, and it wont work for me.
After trying the Vista fix, where you download and place 3 files, run them, and launch,
Whenever i launch the game it shows a blank white screen for 10 minutes, (i havnt tried longer than that, i would just shut it off) and if you tabbed out it would say "Runtime Error 5."
Anyone know how to fix this so i can finally play?
Did you try using the mega thread?
Maybe your problem is vista? Try windows 7.
Or try the fix again and re-download the game.
If none of that works maybe it is your computer's hardware or some software that conflicts with it.

Maybe i will try redownloading the game and retrying the fix. If I use Windows 7, though, will i still need the Vista fix or is there a seperate Windows 7 Fix?

You're probably doing the Vista fix incorrectly, as it works for me on Vista 32.

Please tell me EXACTLY how you did it, as I did everything the guide told me, and it wouldnt work. Dont repost the guide exactly, tell it in your words. :)
I reinstalled and tried again, still wont work HELP SOMEONE.
This might be a little late but it explains it on the mega thread like saint said. It helped me alot.

You bumped it a long way, and like I said before, I did everything that the megathread told me to do, several times, yet it still won't work for me.
