• XBOX or PC gaming?

I was planning on building a new computer, but then i think, should i just get a 360? Only thing about it is that there arent any custom servers on XBOX for tf2.
If you want to play online with a load of annoying 12-year-olds whose vocabulary consists only of the word 'faggot', get a 360.
Meh, in the long run a pc would be worth it but it could be more expensive. The 360 is cheaper but has a big community. I think it would be completely up to you on what you decide to get. I personally would upgrade my pc because there's so much more you can do with a pc then an xbox. The pc has just as much kid's as the 360.
PC.

It's the same everywhere. PC.
Here's a quick preview of some of the things you will get: PC: Better looking games, easier to control, MODS! Xbox 360: Moar games, pay to play online, no system requirements whatsoever BONUS Ps3: Most sechs looking games you'll ever find, free multiplayer,MGS4!!! Wii: Mario's very own console
Alright guess my next thread is gonna be a new build,
At least you can ban them from the server in PC games.
At least you can actually choose servers on the PC.
At least you can actually choose servers on the PC.
True. I couldn't count how many times I've been in a server full of <insert country here> people in CoD4 on 360. Also, since there's text chat on PC games for those without mikes, it feels like a friendlier place.
I would go for pc. You get more control over everything.
Loving my PC right now, I just got a GTS250 and am loving it. [editline]10:43PM[/editline]
I would go for pc. You get more control over everything.
Yes, plus you don't have you pay for content that they force you to pay on the consoles.
PC. I just don't find my 360 entertaining any more. And Live is pure shite, now. Only reason I use my 360 is for HD movies. Also, the above reasons like 12 year olds and paying-for-content.
Only reason I still play my 360 is because I have friends that play it. We will basically just get on together and own it up for awhile. From my experience there really aren't a bunch of little kids and if you do see one just mute them... simple as that.
Only get a 360 if the PC you are building can't handle COD4 with at least 60 fps online.
PC; it's not just used for gaming and it's basically more awesome, 360 and all consoles for this matter just dont do enough stuff and they can become quickly outdated.
Xbox 360: Moar games
Hahahahh what.
If you want to play online with a load of annoying 12-year-olds whose vocabulary consists only of the word 'faggot', get a 360.
That's funny, within my years of pc gaming and xbox gaming I have seen way more kids on pc games.
Both are good choices, but I'd say go with a PC.
People who say PC gaming is dying can jolly well throw themselves off a cliff, a very tall one at that.
PC
Once you go PC you can't go back. Which also has the negative of being slightly more expensive (please who upgrades every year? I only upgrade ever 2-3 years.) but it's still much better
Get whatever your friends have if you want to play with them.
PC. More games, mods, better graphics, faster games, more controls, faster downloads. The only negative thing about it is having to upgrade it. I haven't upgraded my processor in 3 and a half years and my computer is completely bottle necked from it
If you want to play online with a load of annoying 12-year-olds whose vocabulary consists only of the word 'faggot', get a 360.
People are starting to call faggots, "flamers" now. Yeah it's that sad
If you have a close group of friends on live that are on a lot, get 360, otherwise PC.
I have both. Hooray.
PC ftw! Xbox makes you pay for online aswell if you want to use it. Whilst PC you only pay for broadband. But yeah, a PC would be a good investment
I guess it depends on what games you like I prefer the games on the 360 myself, but that's because my PC is a PoS
Xbox is for lazy people, like me, it's just easier to use, aiming with a mouse may be easier, but I'm shit at it. Oh and for all the people who are complaining about people screaming faggot, the mute button, use it.
