iv searched everywhere on the internet and found nothing. every other game i have ( apart from Hl2 ep1 and ep2) steam opens just fine but wen i open it in HL2 (ep1 and ep2 as well) nothing happens. is it supposed to be that way (doubt it) and does any1 else suffer from this and how do u fix it.
What does it do, does it literally not start up or is it just a black screen
Used to happen to me, suddenly fixed itself for no reason.
Fixed it =D. it ran in 64-bit mode which is buggy and you cant use steam in it. if any1 else has this problem set the launch options to "-32bit" exactly like that without the quotation marks. and yes the hyphon is supposed to be before the 32.
Yeah, the 64 bit version of the game wasn't updated since 2005, only the 32 bit one.
