L4D and L4D2 Sound Effects? location help

Hi im a movie/film producer and i have both L4D and L4D2 and i want to acces the gun sound effects for the game, i cant find them anywhere in the gamefiles, and the ones i did find couldnt be exracted or something im stuck...any help?

also should i have posted this in a different board?
