Played for 5 years and never healed. Now I'm trying it on my Undead Priest. Any addons/advice?

Use Grid, it's awesome.
Dont use anything else though.
Then just some good frames and some good combat text system and you are good to go
When I used to play on my priest, I used grid and easy to access binds and macros

Would suggest getting some kind of buff tracker, so you know when weakened soul disappears on your target and dispellable debuffs pop up.

Grid plus Clique is pretty much the best thing ever for healing. I'd also get a buffbar add-on to watch your small buffs (I use one to watch earth shield, for example.)

I think you can set up grid to do this.

What does Clique do exactly?
As for my healing, I've always done it by simply having Grid, configging it so that it fits my healing needs, and then just click on the people in Grid frame and heal them and decurse/cure poison w/e, so, what does Clique add to that?
I used healbot when i played. Wasn't default and you have to set it up to your liking. Takes awhile sinces theres alot of options to go though.

Cliques lets you macro your mouse buttons so when your over a character or there status box (grid) you can click to cast a spell. For example Rejuv is set on right click and if i hover over grid and right click it'll cast Rejuv on them.
I would use healbot I it and used loved it, have not used clique yet though.

Just heal people when they take damage.

when everyone is taking damage at once it can get a bit hard

GL doing that in 25man raids
Target person with damage
cast heal spell
pretend that their health bars are backwards and you are killing them with your heals
Grid is good, get that. And Clique.

if you're doing that might as well use Healbot, you just click on the names in the same way, and it's faster, no click then button press it's just click
I remember the addon that automatically healed people with low hp. It allowed you to put prioritys on people. Like tanks, etc.
It was banned tho, cuz it was more of a bot. :(

Sounds practical but I wouldn't bother. It saves you 1 click (Click which I use to target before I push the heal bind) Also global CD is triggered too so I'm pretty sure I'm hotting shit up just as fast as a Cliquer, I just gotta change the targets between globals, like ive always done
