Basically you've got two fly-able planes to start out with, them being the Icon-A5 and the Stearman, the game itself it centred around the Island's of Hawaii where you can fly about doing whatever, or take part of missions and the like.
I'm going to have to give this a try.
Holy fuck I can't believe that. Nothanks I'll go back to FSX/FS9.
There's a reason they took "simulator" out of this "FS" title. I'll pass this one.
Free achievements.
I thought they were going to make this much better than this little amount of content...
Free achievements.
Take Off, Hoser: 10 pts Look Ma, No Landing Gear!: 15 pts
Out of question what was the best flight Stimulator game anyway?
lmao does this seriously require XBL Gold to play online? I'm getting "online gameplay has been restricted on this gamer profile" or is it something else? [editline]29th February 2012[/editline] nvm just had to relog pretty okay, but mouse controls are incredibly casual
It better fucking be moddable. I ain't paying shit for airplanes. This ain't no Railworks BITCH.
I think the A5's probably the nicest plane, mainly because you can open and close the canopy while you're flying to drown out the monotony.
Why does it ask for a key when I login? and where do I get it?
Why does it ask for a key when I login? and where do I get it?
didn't ask me
Out of question what was the best flight Stimulator game anyway?
For me it is a tie between FS9 and FSX. FSX needs are far more powerful machine if you're running it with addons. FS9 has from what I remember a few more addons but the "essential" stuff like the PMDG machines are aviable for the FSX too. Basically: If you have a good quad core go for FSX, if you have a good dual core go for FS9. That's because FS9 doesn't make use of anything more than dual cores as far as I know. And I don't know about XPlane, never tried it.
No third-party content makes me sad.
Why does it ask for a key when I login? and where do I get it?
Nevermind, I guess I needed to update Live and re-launch the game.
For anyone wondering, you can get about 300 gamerscore for free, then you have to pay for all DLC shit.
it has the icon a5 in it? INSTANT BUY [editline]29th February 2012[/editline] they don't even show the a5 in the trailer either what is this crock

Look at the actual trailer: This game is for retarded people that only want to fly trying to avoid buildings.
I'll stick with FSX thanks.
I actually never got a chance to play FSX but I've got FS2004. Is it truly worth it at this point to grab FSX?
Well it was interesting for a bit, the graphics are great, scenerey is detail and it's simple to use... ...but when I decided to fly close to the ground and upside down I could feel the plane being pushed away from it, I just can't play this despite how promising it seemed. Also, my copy of FSX arrived today.
well, flight.exe is running, game isn't, nice one microsoft! Flight.exe is running in the processes, the game doesn't even show up and it just says it's already running.

You should order a flightstick, Makes it control better and is more fun to play with. *Minus the sexual jokes people are going to reply to this with*
We almost actually bought an Icon A-5. Then we decided to get a searey instead. The hull design is seperate from the airframe, where as the A-5 is all one piece. If you get hull damage, you have to replace A LOT more than you would have to replace in a Searey.
I don't know about you guys, but this is kind of fun. It's a bit of a break from all the flight sims I have been playing though, but it blends realism (clickable/usable cockpits and a few small things when flying) and arcade flying pretty well. The only real nag I have about it is that you have to pay 20$ for the rest of the Hawaiian islands, you can only fly on Hawaii and none of the smaller islands without it.

How does this run on everyone's machine? Is it smoother than FSX? I can't tell because I'm currently out of town with a mbp.
