If you have been VAC banned its your fault. Ether you DID cheat or you let some one play on your account who cheated or you didn't keep after your account security.

If he is banned from VAC servers that means he is and his profile hasn't been updated.
Have you tried playing on another server because that server might have just made that up to piss yourself.
For the record, some server admins will ban you with the reason a VAC ban gives you just to screw with you.
Hax never pays off.
Yeah.
I've seen servers that have reserve slots, and when it kicks you, it says you are VAC banned.
Make sure you checked your actual Steam account for the VAC status.
I don't think kick'd messages use the VAC logo, though.
never been vac'd while ON a server.
but I've seen scripts that kick people that get too many kills in a certain amount of time
I remember hax, hax would by a para, crawl into a corner and headshot the whole other team.
That was great.
If you're VAC Banned then you're never going to be un-banned. Period. You can whine and complain to VALVe all you want but at the end of the day nothing will happen.

If you're VAC banned, it's a year. If you're VAC2 banned it's permanent.

Ok so to avoid a permanent VAC ban I just have to go back in time, thanks for the info.
Since everyone in here are so fucking usefull let me add this.
If you are not banned from VAC servers then all you need to do is delete clientregistry.blob in your main steam folder. Then restart steam
