A few days back i bought Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I've mostly been playing the online mode, trying to get better at the Upsilon force. But lately I've been hearing the motion sensor noise when the game is off. Every once in a while i'd be kinda quiet around the house and suddenly I'll hear the beep, very quiet but distinct. I ask, is there a way to stop this from happening. my increasing paranoia can't be healthy.
Stop playing, you're schizophrenic.
Online never works for me. It never finds any servers. I thought it was just 'cause the game was old
it sometimes happens, I think it is normal, like the notification noise when you get an achievement or if someone is online. I used to hear the goggles flipping to NV noise when I used to play Splinter Cell alot. Kind of funny actually.
I used to hear the turn on sound for the gameboy :v:

Back in my Worms-playing days, I would hear little sounds like that from the game in real life. It's normal if you've been playing a particular game a lot.

Double Agent multiplayer was godlike.
I used to hear Blood suckers in my house when i walked around without the lights on...Yea was not a good time in my life.
Double Agent multiplayer was godlike.
they made it interesting but there are things they should remove and things they should bring back from SCCT
I've sometimes heard sounds from games I was just playing. It pretty bad when you hear the sound the creatures from Dead Space make when they charge at you in the middle of the night. :tinfoil:
I used to imagine people saying "Aw SHIT!" In a Marcuss Fenix voice after playing GoW 2 a lot... It'll pass :P
When Halo first came out a friend and i played through it nonstop, for about 3 days afterword i swore i kept hearing the sound that your health makes when it gets low/recharges.
I used to hear Blood suckers in my house when i walked around without the lights on...Yea was not a good time in my life.
you unlucky bugger, if I heard that all the time no light would ever be off.
I get this with other sounds a lot, it sucks when it's "FATALITY!" though, i shat bricks.
When I used to play lots and lots of Sarge's Heroes when I was young I started hearing noises from the game. lol
I get this with other sounds a lot, it sucks when it's "FATALITY!" though, i shat bricks.
Oh yeah, shitting sounds mixed with UT-commentaries. That's what the world has been waiting for. You might as well go now and start producing a toilet, that indeed does make sounds. Would be made of pure awesomeness.
Also is this on 360 or PC? Just curious.
Also is this on 360 or PC? Just curious.
Xbox 360. Out of curiosity, was it released on PC as well?
Yeah, it was. It's the buggiest piece of shit ever designed. And I used to see darwinians and virii-filled mountains when I closed my eyes after playing darwinia - hearing the NVG sound around the house isn't that serious.
use your little scope thing and look under your doors
Xbox 360. Out of curiosity, was it released on PC as well?
Yeah, all of the main SC games (Not handheld ones or anything) were released on the PC.
use your little scope thing and look under your doors
I wish I actually had one of those. :v:

You people get all of the fun. Nothing like this ever happens to me.
Kept hearing TF2 sounds and seeing flashes of characters sometimes after playing for over 30 hours in the course of 3 days. EDIT: Gameplay Stats _ Member since:August 10, 2006 Steam Rating:10 Playing time:89 hrs past 2 weeks Do I have a problem? :C
It's like when you play The Sims for too long when you go to bed and close your eyes you'll see the sims in fastforward.
I used to hear the same noise. I also hear my phone when it's not ringing My ipod playing when it's not on And I used to hear link and mario making the noises from the game when I was younger. I think as you hear a sound too much it slowly digs into your head. I also used to hear the GTA4 theme.
Sometimes when I'm listening to music I can swear I hear the noises that MSN and Steam make when someone sends you a message. Fuck, sometimes I run it back and I can still hear it. Also, sometimes when I can't sleep I can faintly hear my alarm.
It's like that fucking dispenser sound when you play as engie. Whenever it starts healing you it gives this small wosh/buzz.
