• How come Valve doesn't have Battlefield on Steam?

Its a very well known game and when I get BF: BC2 for the pc I would like it to be on my steam account so I enjoy it when ever.
Valve isn't going to start publishing everything EA owns just because they did it once or twice D: Though, that would be alright. The Battlefield series (minus bad company, lols) has always been pretty decent.
I kinda liked bad company. Not it having a story line because that sucked but I loved blowing through stuff and idk I just like the style.
Dice has its own thing.
Valve and Steam are 2 different things. Anyways, some games can take months to get on Steam.
How come The Sims isn't on Steam. How come Grim Fandango isn't on Steam. How come *some other game* isn't on Steam. Besides, just add BF2 as a non-Steam game. Works just as well.
I wish Bad Company had come to PC. I love that game.
How come Valve doesn't have Battlefield on Steam?.
That is like like asking why doesn't Toyota sell Ford cars
Because Valve does not add shitty games to steam.
Because Valve does not add shitty games to steam.
Absolutely not true.
It's up to developers to get their games on Steam, Valve doesn't go after them.
Absolutely not true.
Yeah, just look at *insert name of game you don't like here*
I gonna buy Battlefield Bad Company 2 for my ps3 cos the first one was on consoles like xbox 360 and ps3. The frostbite engine runned first on the consoles and not on the pc. So they may ruin the game on pc like rockstar did with GTA 4 i mean it just looks shitty on pc i mean ok pc got mods for GTA IV on pc and gta 4 got also a graphic bug on ps3 ^^ And im not a ps3 fanboy i freaking hate those fanboys like those xbox 360 fanboys and all the others.
I'd really like Battlefield games on steam. I REALLY hate patching them.
You cant even launch BF from steam, couse it gets you kicked by Punkbuster.
You cant even launch BF from steam, couse it gets you kicked by Punkbuster.
punkbuster should die in a hole. Somewere deep within the core of middle earth. Or be disintrigrated in the citital destruction. Or be pute in the rocket with the gnome. Torn into 100000000000000000 peices. ffs.fs..fs..
How come Valve doesn't distribute EA's games though Steam, though EA distributes Valve's games in stores?

Because Battlefield is bad, and you should feel bad.
how come serious sam in not on steam
I'd really like Battlefield games on steam. I REALLY hate patching them.
I agree. Also for those who doesn't like Battlefield I hope it's not just the hatred for EA, because the game series is epic.

the reason why ea does not publish there games on steam is because they care about profits, if they released there game on steam, the profit will go to valve, meaning ea will loose out on making profits. Also its a bti easy to tell ea only care about profits as of some of the poor quality in some of there games and failiure to relese fixes for bugs in there games
Because steam already got Arma 2. :smug:

Valve is only taking the cut the stores would get.

Not only is Steam popular but it's also not EADM. Which is already a huge pro.
^^^^^^ it looks five times better and isnt battlefield supposed to be dedicated to their loyal PC fans?
BF3 is on it's way.
