Anybody think it's a shame that Halo 2 will no longer have a multiplayer side to it?
Haha.
I don't play it so I don't give a shit.
Quit making Halo threads.
I had such good memories with Halo 2. Staying up past midnight playing Zombies, making crappy machinima, playing Cops & Robbers. Those were the days.
I've heard a lot of people still play Halo 2, so I'm a bit sad on their way. But for myself I don't really care because I really never got into Halo.
What about the PC version?
What about the PC version?
Yea it's going down on that aswell
Wow... My brother just bought halo 2 for 10$ just for the MP. Ill tell him to get as much out off it as he can.

Man, the good ol days with my friends playing this game..... Now the servers are going away and I don't even talk to those friends anymore :(
The fact that it's going down on xbox is fine, but on the PC there's no point in taking it down since there's no later game out for it.
Yea it's going down on that aswell
That's just stupid. There is no reason why the servers for the PC version should go down. The game still has a small, yet active community, and it isn't compatible with the Xbox version so it is in no way connected to Xbox Live. Do you have a source that shows the PC version's online going down?
I don't think they're going down. The original Xbox Live is what is going down. Not just Halo 2. Halo 2 PC is part of GFWL and will most likely remain up.
good

Whereas on halo wikipedia, it says that the servers are going down completely for it. I'm not to sure to be quite honest
One game down. Now we're down to good (Halo 1) and shit (Halo 3 and others)
But guyz Half life copied off of Halo so itz rly sad. :downs:
What about the PC version?
Those are dedicated. Dumb question.
dedicated servers are better? I saw something in OXM that you can still play by running a hamachi type thing so you can make it think your playing lan. Its the same thing, just no ranked. And modded maps.
But Halo 1 servers are still up :crossarms:
But Halo 1 servers are still up :crossarms:
there are no Halo 1 servers Halo 1 only had online play on PC
That is what he meant
Long live Halo 1 (PC)!
Quit making Halo threads.
Take a look at your ban history and tell me how you contribute anything. Honestly there isn't a need to uphold the servers considering a very VERY small portion of people still play the game, even online.
If you had memories in this game, you should have been playing a game that wasn't and overrated sack of crap
Or xlink I think.

Is it necessary to have three halo threads on the front page and two made by the same person?

It's not about that. It's about making a bunch of threads about the same topic.
