No, Left 4 Dead is focused on shooting up zombies, but Zombie Panic is focused on survival, and teamwork. Also they're isn't as much ammo on the map and you can die pretty quickly as a survivor.

Killing floor and Zombie panic are way different.
I like zombie panic, because I can be more of a rambo-ish zombie that can actually run at survivors, as opposed to running and hiding in L4D. The maps and gameplay are also different from other games, which is nice. I mainly prefer the zpo maps (especially the CvG BioTech server) because zombie have unlimited spawns, so you don't have to worry about stupid people wasting lives and making you lose.
I don't like it too much, I am the Carrier( very first zombie) way too often. And most servers have disabled his vomit, which I found very useful against survivor swarms/hunters.

The gameplay is way too slow. Humans are slow, zombies are slow. It's too hard to kill zombies and the only strategy is to closet camp and prop block.

I had some great times with the HL1 mod. Ah, good ol' Hotel. Everything was quite solid. Don't know what the hell happened with source though.

QFT. I just Downloaded it, horrible mod.
I hated the mod. It was just too damn frustrating as a zombie to first find where any survivor was, then it was harder than anything to try to even touch them let alone kill them, especially when they're in a pack.
My preference for zombie mods is zombie master. One guy controlling the zombies and whatever deadly traps the map has.

It's okay... I only play it with my brother and his friends. On a kids server (lawls) I usually just go there to make fun of the little shits and not get banned, it's a lot of fun
It would be better with npc zombies that would follow the carrier and other player zombies imo.

Claire's Torture Chamber is a shitty server, admins are a bunch of cock sucking children who worship Claire and wholegrain like they're the Gods of ZPS.
The hitboxes and lag are the things that made me stop playing.
I'd be running away from a zombie, shooting at it, and then he kills me. The zombie's four feet away.
It was awesome when it first came out for the first week or 2, but I don't like playing it as much any more.
When I played it I usually joined the convict gaming servers. They were usually good and most people weren't jackasses.
ZPS is a great game...Kind of. Feels like it's missing something. Never played original, but I have HL1 now (I played through Source at a friend's house, and loved HL:Day One and HL:Uplink) and I might play some original mods.
If you start as a zombie with other zombies and vomit it is really fun-vomit trough window at survivor, survivor get infected, infected guy kill survivors.

Zombie master gets boring, same old stuff, just hop on a car and melee the zombies, in Zombie Panic you're up against humans, and nothings scarier than turning a corner as the last guy when your flashlight just died and getting surrounded by 23 zombies.

It's actually boring. The only reason I ever played is because my friends bro made the official maps.
I didn't like ZPS. It was so unbelievably hard to kill the zombies. I spawn, with a Glock, move with the mass of survivors. Somehow, I get separated from the group, and I'm on my own. A zombie finds me. I open fire on him with the Glock, and hit him at least 6 times in the head - that should be enough, but no - my only mag is now empty, and I get killed.
