I just downloaded a torrent for Alan Wake from TPB, and the torrent was uploaded by extremezone (A.K.A SKIDROW). I unzipped the file and everything, and I copied everything that was in the SKIDROW folder into the game directory like I was told to do.
INSTALL NOTES
2. Mount or burn image
3. Install
4. Copy everything from the SKIDROW folder into the game installation
5. Play the game
6. Support the companies, which software you actually enjoy
That's what I was told to do, and that's what I did. Is it possible that it's because I moved everything from the SKIDROW folder, instead of copied it? I really want to play this game.
Here's the error message I get:

If you need any more additional information, here's the link to the torrent itself.
Thank you for your help :)

1) Really... are you serious?
2) If you can't pirate the game properly, don't do it.
3) ...really ?
I support game developers 100%, if I like this game I'm going to buy it, obviously.
And to answer your question, yes. Really.
Buy the game.

Well, because you can't even copy the crack correctly, I suggest just buying the game.
6. Support the companies, which software you actually enjoy

[sp]...Or do some research read up reviews, then buy it, you know, like everyone else.[/sp]
Wow. Screw you, alan wake is a great game, made by a small finnish company.
It's one of those games you just don't pirate.
ah yes, i see what you did wrong.
okay, instead of putting the crack in the main folder and replacing the original .exe you should have
bought the game.
I dont think we are allowed to talk about warez here.
We're not. Report and move on.
