On this website, there is situated a development team which is remaking Croc. They aspire to eventually release it on the commercial gaming systems, but for the moment, progress is relatively slow.
They would greatly benefit from some helping hands, and if you think you way be able to help them, go on over there and apply to be a part of the dev team, by signing up, and posting in this thread; http://crocfanforum.forumotion.com/public-discussion-f5/join-the-team-t14.htm.
At this point, everything is needed. 3D modellers, programmers, and other such roles. For more information on the project and what is needed, check out the website. As I'm not an actual part of the development team, I don't know much about the situation. I'm just helping out by spreading the word at this point.
At this point, the majority of the website's content is concept and speculation. Little work has yet been done.
Excellent. I loved Croc and Croc 2.
I was always a Crash Bandicoot man
I played a whole lot of Croc 2, the first one i never really started. The second one was incredible.

I was a big fan of both
WHAT Croc 3
I'm signing up, could be my first chance to be on a dev team.

Actually remake of Croc 1 but whatever.
It's kind of both. I think there's eventual plans to make an all new one once the remake is finished.
Either that, or it was originally a Croc 3 and they changed their minds. I don't know, I haven't been around since the beginning.

And for anyone that wonders, my name is DoubleYooToo on that website. Same as my steam name.
It's funny that they have nothing, why would I join their team when I could just make it myself?
It's not nothing, it's just not much at this point. They're currently working out the engine. This isn't one of those "make a game for me" threads, I'm not even directly involved.
I always liked Croc.
Nostalgiaaaaa, I still own my PS1 and my Croc.
Oh my god, Croc 2 nostalgia attack! I played that game so much on my computer when I was little... shit, I might have to go replay it now for nostalgia value.
I'm sorry but, how are they planning on releasing this on commercial gaming systems when they don't own the croc franchise.
Or did I miss the part where it says this is being remade by the original croc dev team/creators
Wow...Croc...brings back some good old memories...don't think I ever beat any of them though...I still think I have Croc 1 and 2 laying around here somewhere...I hope these guys pull it off though.
I remember the days when it used to be cool to play as an anthopimorphised animal.
Now you just get called a fur fag.
I'd rather want a remake of the first three Spyro or Crash games. Then again, replaying Masochism:The Game AKA Croc is always fun!

Why wait for Episode 3 when you could just make it yourself?
Also the only way I can see this getting on consoles is through maybe XBLA's Indie Games or Wii's Homebrew Channel and even that I would still find highly unlikely.
Holy shit, I forgot about this game until now. I used to play this all the time when I was younger!
i still have my ps1 copy of original CROC, awsome game
I love Croc.
First time i played Croc i thought it was so sad with the king.
Their forum is terrible.
I fucking loved Croc.

The first one was way better than Croc 2
