The only indie game I play on a regular basis is Minecraft, but I loved VVVVVV, World of Goo, Gish, and Penumbra.
Penumbra Series/Amnesia

Beat Hazard also
Spelunky!
The Penumbra series is pretty good, it also scared the shit out of me..
Right off the top of my head a couple I really enjoyed are Iji, Mount & Blade(kinda I guess), Happy Wheels, and Minecraft is something I've been wanting since I played it at my friends house.
Multiwinia.
Meatboy, Castle Crashers

I have yet to play Meatboy.. though i really want too.
Dorf Fortress, Mount & Blade, SpringRTS, that's just the first few that I can think of
I'd be better off listing these.
-Iji
-Minecraft
-Cave Story (classic!)
-World of Goo (though I haven't played it as much as most have, I'm sure)

Gadzooks, I forgot all about Braid and Audiosurf. Also, pretty much anything by introversion.
Oh, and Eufloria.
Rez, and Rez HD were awesome.
Completely forgot about minecraft, which is weird because I've spent like 8 hours playing it over the past 5 days.

I love just about all of Introversion's games. The only I haven't is Uplink (I'm too dumb to figure out how to play)

I was never any good at Uplink. I recognize it as a good game, but I don't play it anymore.
cave story is a given

Yes, totally. Really awesome story and gameplay.
The fact that you can beat the entire game without firing a single shot, and that doing so completely changes the dialogue and interactions is just awesome.
I totally forgot about the Ship and Bloody Good Time.
I love those games

Oookay i will look into it!
World of Goo and Braid are probably my favourite indie games.
Almost every game on www.fun-motion.com (Toribash, Ski Stunt Simulator etc)
Super Meat Boy
Castle Crashers
World of Goo
Minecraft
Zombie Shooter 2 (does that count as indie or not?)
Lugaru
Happy Wheels
Penumbra
Plasma Pong
Black Shades
Plus TONS of others. I should of created this thread lol.
I find it funny that "Indie" is a classified as as genre. There sure is a higher level of creativity amongst Indie games, but theres no real common elements as far as gameplay goes.
