Paying money for a game you can't play - Games

sick and tired of the "Additional instances cannot be launched" Blizzard should invest in some new servers, in the amount of money they make in 2 months they could probably afford a fucking nuclear sub

I agree, I bought 2 months (1 month into it) and so far there's been like 10 days I couldn't play cause of server side lag and being down and then there's the instance bullshit which starts happening. Don't blame you, everyone starts getting all pissy after about 10 mins of waiting.

Its not an easy fix apparently, I dont think 'investing in new servers' will fix the problem completely, I take it you havent read the latest notes or blue posts so ill save you the trouble. There is new hardware going in on the instance servers and some high population servers tommrow (atleast for EU servers anyways).

it may just be the servers I play on, and i hear people talk about it all the time, but I never experience it myself may have something to do with playing anywhere between 8pm - 5am EST

I fucking hate the bad treatment the Oceanic servers get, we are always schelduled for a longer maintainace and the fact that the server downtime is our prime time (7pm).

They don't relaly care if you can't play the game, as long as your paying... It's all about money. All Blizzard did was take a bunch of shit from Dungeons & Dragons, removed any aspects of "roleplaying" from their game, made everything completly stat oriented so it would take hundreds of hours of gameplay to get through the first few levels, all so you'll keep coming back and paying.

this problem has existed for a long time but it's becoming a major problem with WotLK because so many people are doing stuff like farming the baron's mount and the ZG tiger, I even know someone that solos kara weekly for extra easy gold but the point is that there's more people launching instances than ever before and until blizzard actually upgrades the hardware nothing can be done but yes I agree with you christarp

This happened to me during the Midsummer Festival. I had to wait 5 minutes to get into Slave Pens to fight that holiday boss.
