About an hour ago I just sat in my room playing some Black Ops, minding my own business, having fun etc. And suddenly my sister decided to be a douche and pull the plug on our modem. And I just think, "*Sigh* here we go." So I go all the way to the living room where our modem is located and just plug-in the power. So I stand there waiting for the modem to fire up and do what it does, BUT THEN the light nr four, the xbox is hooked up on ethernet port four, hence the light nr four, DOESN'T TURN ON! I then figured I had to turn off the modem for 30 sec and turn it on again. So I do that, but no difference were made. So I go back into the Xbox and into network settings I went, selected "Wired Internet" and to my fear it said: "To use a wired Internet connection, make sure an Ethernet cable is connected to both your console and your router or modem." So I checked and double checked and tried again. Same shit happened. No light and another error message. This is where I went: So, what else can I try to make it work? Sometimes you have to unplugg your 360's power cable for like 30 seconds, or atleast I did
Use another cable, she may have broke it by removing it incorrectly, causing the wires to lose connection with the ends.
