This has happened to me recently too. I recently installed Opposing Force and I tried to play online, to no avail.
Same, i can't see any GoldSrc servers.
Guys, did it occur to you that Half Life and the like is 11 years old? The servers are probably shut off.

I remember this happened a while back after a steam update was released. We'll just need to wait for them to fix it...

Good lord, man, Half-Life is [i]THE[/i] most popular first person PC video game ever. And it still is. Half-Life servers will never shut down. Never. Ever. [b][u][i]EVER[/i][/u][/b].
Pretty much all source servers are run independently, they wont shut down until people stop hosting them.
And yes, its broken right now. I've been using game-monitor.com to find servers.

Guys, did it occur to you that there's been new servers for years now, it's called Steam.
It's fixed now.
It got fixed for me too, thread over.
