I'm making a 2D Physics Sandbox, very very basic, mostly for fun.
I would like some constructive critiscism.
I thought I would post this in creationism corner at first, but I thought it would fit better here.

Also, a side-game me and my friend did. It's called "Cockfight" and is VERY Immature, mind you.

Why did you include the source-file (.cap-file)?
I thought if someone has a way to improve the game, they can look at the codes, make the improvements and post them here, so they can be implemented into the game, part by part.

Might need Scirra Construct
For some reason, I get the error "Failed to load plugin C:\Documents and Settings\*name*\Local Settings\Temp\capA2.tmp\0.csx (998)" when I start it. I've had this problem with other small games like this before, but I don't know what the problem is.
Is it made with gamemaker? Not being rude just asking.
Weird? Download Scirra Construc,t nad try again. Might be something about that.

Nope Scirra Construct. Gamemaker Physics sucks.
Ohh noez i need a new direct x...

Ok, will try later.
Has anyone got it to work yet? =/

yes
good job
its great so far
Works well.
You should try to add momentum, so you can throw the blocks. That would be awesome.
Maybe find a way to make the "water" interact differently with the blocks, maybe making it so they always go on top of the blocks?
There's some aliased edges here and there. Text looks awful too.

And you can't see the text in the upper-right corner.

Last time I used Gamemaker (a while ago, mind you, it wasn't yesterday) I do recall there being close to no in-built physics.
Which would mean you'd need to make your own physics engine, largely. Which would mean you'd need some semblance of game-developing skills to actually make a physics sandbox.
Not like this is the first 2D physics sandbox to come out of Construct on Facepunch.

Exactly what I was going to say. Making anything half decent using gamemaker requires a lot more skill than people realise.
So far it's good then? :D

I used a drag'n'drop behviour on it. Can't get momentum to work on that. I'm gonna experiment with some custom scripting for dragging and dropping instead of using pre-done scripts.
The download is messing up for me.
Upload it to filesmelt?
I won the game :D
Also if you put too many water particals they impload and crash the game

I noticed that. I don't get why though. They're solids and have next to no weight in-game =/
Also hurr :3
I made something similiar to this in Scirra Construct too, it was my first project.

Did you get far with it?
Cause I might need some help in coding ^^
Not really, I abandoned it after a week like all of my projects. But I think I could help you.
Cool :)
PM me your Steam Name and I'll add you when I get the chance to access my PC. I'm at the school PC rite now.
Sent.
Super-update (kinda) to v0.9.1 :v:
Added momentum to boxes (Just testing. Tell me what you think and I'll add it to the rest of the objects.
Hold S to spam boxes. Hold S+E for happy fun times (not really. Just release both keys after like 5 seconds.)
And (for lulz) added Win98 Support.

As I remember, GameMaker had a physics plug in that oddly reminded me of HL2 physics in 2D. But with water. Maybe OP should be in GameMaker.
Yuck. No way. I would have to learn everything from scratch. I'll just google for some help. It helped me getting momentum.
Ever thought of working with Faucet? (The guys at Gang Garrison) They're working on a demake of Garry's Mod, named Larry's Mod. they're on Game Maker, but if you show them an idea, they may change their mind.
Construct's collision detection is garbage. The rest is great.
what... the... FUCK....

Also @ ashxu
I might do that :)
