Old world is fucking boring where as the 4.0.3a world is completely re-vamped and far more interesting.

Boring for someone who's been playing for ages maybe, but this is a new player we're talking about here, who knows, maybe he'll enjoy vanilla.

trust me , you will enjoy the next patches quests much more than the current
the current ones are like:
hurp durp, go der, kill 20 farmer, come back to me to report
gather 5 bear meat herp, then bring them to me
pick 4 mushrooms and then come back h
The next patch still has those quests, just less of them.
Much better quests :)

If you find it entertaining, sure. It's a relative term though.. I enjoyed executing alliances in PuG BG brawl.

I just started playing, and whenever I try to do stuff in Stormwind, there are level 80 (i assume) monsters everywhere, and all the merchants are gone.
It's very annoying.

Its the damned cata events. They are annoying as fuck. As someone said on my server blizz knew no one would care about the event so they forced everyone to participate by removing all vendors.

But really all it does it drive the 80s who dont want the bother to Dalaran and force the lower levels to sit and wait.
Yeah, they should have just made it so only 80s could see/fight the elementals and everyone else could just go about their days normally.
