Is it legal to port models from games like Modern Warfare 2?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum so cut me some slack on the number of posts I got.

But anyways, I've just downloaded AlexVestin's MW2 Model pack with all the Kevlar n stuff. And he said I had his permission to use it n all. But I had a question..
Would it be legal or illegal for me to port it onto another game called Second Life? Does Infinity Ward approve of their models being ported onto games like garrysmod, Second life?
Could they sue me or take me to court for any reason? Just wanna know what I'm messin with. Thanks.

As far as I know, unless you or anybody else gains direct profit from the models, you should be fine.
