Perfect World- Swordsman Priv server - Games

I know there was a couple old FP users I used to play on this server with. But, I just recently started thinking about going back to [URL="http://www.danceinpw.com/bbs/"]this server[/URL] and was wondering if anyone wanted to tag along. I know that they wiped the server for like the 4th time and this time they renamed the server and the site :| For those that don't know what [URL="http://www.perfectworld.com/"]Perfect World[/URL] is its basically WoW for Asian people I'm sure its been posted here before [url]http://www.danceinpw.com/bbs/[/url]

Perfect Worlds a good game, when I saw they ran private servers.. It became the number one world of warcraft look alike i knew.. And thats just sad.

From this post it sounds like your just saying that PW is a look alike of WoW because of the private servers. Things your not taking into consideration are; Level cap and the entire leveling experience, Races/classes are done completely different, Quests are very different, PvP or PK as it is called in Perfect world is 100% different (Minus the fact your killing other players), The attribute system is totally different in PW you can actually pick what attribute you want which makes up for the lower number of classes, Professions are very different, mount/flying mount speeds have more then just 2 speeds like they do in WoW, And last one I can think of right now PW has an Item mall for income from the players where as WoW is pay-to-play...I do play World of Warcraft more then I play Perfect World, But do not try to compare them. I did not come here to complain about World of Warcraft nor Perfect World. Both well made games, with their differences.. To start with, a level cap doesn't exist in Perfect World as it is slightly impossible to level any higher, with as there is no possible way level any higher without any environment to play in. As they expand from time to time, the chance to level becomes available. So simple there is a unseen cap? And for give or take, the majority of the PW-international are Asian, but true story.. the first version of the game was Asian and was a major hit down there.. But isn't it so that private servers destroy the game in a mater of speaking, I've got my experiences since the good old days of Tibia, and their Open Servers as they called 'em. There was possibilities of getting your hands on the best equipments and highest levels with ease. So in my point of view there was no reason to play, perhaps to socialise, but all the game play that we've had joined up for was gone.. In that case I could rather have gone hung out with ma pals down the store?

What's the point of a Private Server for a Free Game with virtually no level cap ?

Preciesly, that's another question? I think i've heard Perfect World Entertainments are making them all shutdown. And so have world of warcraft.. But what can stop them?
