The title explains it all but I'm guessing you guys would want a picture.

This does not occur on any level before "Black Mesa East" and it occurs in every level after "Black Mesa East". It totally ruins that immersion.
Any help would be appreciated.
Make sure mat_fullbright is set to 0 in the console.
I'll try that.
And sometimes poopy GPUs can do this.
I thought fullbright was when you couldn't even see shadows.

It is, except for basic shadows underneath an NPC.

This doesn't even relate to the thread, although it's informative.
This is due to the new update. Turn HDR on and then put mat_fullbright 0 in there.

Sometimes this doesn't work. If it doesn't, deal with it or get a better PC.
