Fallout 3 how to get more followers?

Does anyone know how to get more followers than 1? Like jericho, butch and dogmeat in the sametime.
And make your followers use a weapon that you want. If someone helps he will make me happy :3

for the weapon, I think you can give them one by sneaking behind them, opening their pocket and putting it in. If they find it better, I think they will use it like in Oblivion.

I have traded a weapon with butch a assault rifle but he still uses 10mm pistol -_-

There are several mods that let you use more than one follower at a time, search Fo3 nexus. Otherwise you can't.

You have to give them ammo with it.
