Instead of him being at the AS labs, lets put him and a small team from Black Mesa on a combine world where he has been working endlessly to get a Combine portal started, and shortly after, the combine controlled planet is attacked, forcing Rush to complete his work, get the teleport working only to have him and his team end up on a ship millions of light-years away from home.

He isn't trolling. He does stuff like that in the Portal 2 Collab as well. No matter how many times we try to tell him to use Google translate in stead of doing it himself, he still dismisses us as trolls and ignores us completely.
