This is really pissing me off, because I'm trying to level a Druid on a PvP server. I wouldn't mind it if it happened occasionally, but this is seriously getting annoying being ganked by 80s constantly. I ganked my share of lowbies when I was getting The Explorer on my main, but this is starting to get old.
And even worse is the allied 80s that are doing the same quests as I am and stealing all the credit. Does everyone just want Loremaster now that the new content is out or are they killing time until they can make a Worgen/Goblin?
the character im leveling is on a pve server, so luckily i haven't dealt with the other faction problem, although i've seen a lot of them and i'm not even in a contested zone yet. the alliance 80s do piss me off though
I think they are doing it because they are fucking retarded.
Blizz is retarded too. Seriously, no guards on the Speedbarge? I know where my new favorite gank spot is.
There's always a couple of lvl 80 hordes in goldshire just waiting to pick somebody off.
I'm in a PvP server, but we're mostly horde anyway so I rarely get ganked.
I play on an RP server, and it's bad enough that 80s are constantly one shotting all of my quest mobs. I think I would lose my mind if I was getting ganked too.
I play on Gurubashi with a level 33 warrior and most of the time if you stay out of their way nothing happens.
I simply count how many times i get ganked during one leveling session, write it down and such, and next time i get on my 80 i proceed to go to a different area and gank the same amount, hoping that the hordies think there's more PvP action in other area and so next time i log onto my alt, i'm g2g. Kinda worked once, i drew away a warrior from STV to Winterspring...
I have my UD rogue on Dark Iron, and while I know it can get fucking frustrating when you're getting ganked while levelling, you have the opportunity to dish it out if you have a L80 decently geared toon.
I swear the majority of players these days have no fucking idea on how to play their class, let alone gank.
Well ganking is annoying, sure. Lvl 80's are rather annoying, but so are the others who are around the same level who decide to jump you while you're attacking mobs.
Which is why I have my 80 parked in whatever zone I am questing in with my alt. Someone ganks me, I quickly relogg and gank that person.
If I somehow forgot to bring my 80 to the quest location, I may relog, make an alliance, and talk to the ganker, and ask him to stop. It works more often then not.
But yeah, you can't complain if you're on a pvp server. You chose it. And I personally like it.

I don't hate being ganked once or twice, or while killing mobs, but if I start getting corpse-camped I get on my Rogue and show them who's boss. And there's no reason to hate being ganked by people at your level, it's how it's supposed to be. I just hate all the 80s everywhere that keep killing me. Wasn't nearly this bad on my other toons.
I got sent to level in Searing Gorge the other day. Every single Dark Iron dwarf was dead all the time because 80s were farming them (I can only assume for one of the little Whelp pets).

Ganking just seems sad to me, and that seems to be all that's separates normal from pvp servers now.
As a side note, I can kind of understand why level 80s are doing low level quests; they probably want to experience the new content without having to make a new character (though don't get me wrong, I'd much rather make a new character, personally).
