This still works, one problem, you can't save, it saves between checkpoints and stuff so if you die you return to the checkpoint like the normal game and gain all powerups, but if you say exit to the dashboard you have do the exploit again, luckily the game is short and you can do it in 1 sitting. Or if you must rest just put it on pause and turn the tv off.
