We've had Half Life 2: Deathmatch but how do you feel about a Multiplayer DM being intergrated into Portal 2. I would say that it would require a lot of processing power because it would all be on physics. The game would be played by everyone having a fully functional Portal Gun and you would have to kill the other players (like any DM) but you'd have to do it using physics (dropping a turret or large prop on someone or knocking them off the edge with a prop. There would also be people making turrets from under their feet to put them next to a turret or something). This would rack up points (because it will be the person that touched the physics object last that gets the points).
I thought it was a good idea and would be quite fun to play. Do you agree?
The game better be in slow mo otherwise it going to be hard with everyone jumping and running around not standing still.
That worked in Exite, kinda. It was awesome if you ignore the bugs that teleport you outside the map.
Would be fun, but laggy.
I have a feeling that griefing would be incredibly easy to do.

Please explain.
It would be interesting to see if the maps are done right.
Perhaps some Portal 2 race maps as well?
Anybody think they could code a gamemode for this sort of thing?
They said they tried Portal multiplayer and it sucked dick.
Yeah, I reckon it would be incredibly hard to pull it off. There would be people flying everywhere, crashing into each other and if people picked up speed it would be impossible to attack them. I don't think it would work :(
Portal's Multiplayer is broken by the engine, unless you have the source code you can't play multiplayer on portal.

It's encrypted. :downs:

Well it is hard and illegal to decrypt it. And even more illegal to release it.
hold a turret facing the other way, run into people :buddy:
