Why is my UI bad?

So I've always thought that the normal UI was fine. People are always telling me that I shouldn't be using the default UI. I don't lack on DPS, I find it easy to use and simple, I see screenshots and I hate the way the UI looks.

there is nothing wrong with the default ui

the only thing I see wrong is that you apparently click

Nothing is wrong with it, most people will chastise those who use the default UI though.

Also, clickity click click.

You can sort....of get away with clicking in PVE but I wouldn't recommend it. Just macro some keys and you will learn to soon enough. Many are biased towards the default UI anyway just because it isn't all shiny and less screen hogging.

I dont click my rotation... its mostly the things I rarely use or things that arnt really needed for binding like profs

The general consensus is that if you keep the 7,8,9,0,-,= keys as default, you're either a clicker or wasting a lot of your time on maneuvering the keyboard.

And it's always nice to have your cooldowns bound to something.

Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with default UI. It's better than most of the shitty and cluttered UI a lot of baddies use.

I guess it couldnt hurt to set my AOE spells to Shift+#

It says 7 on the bar, but it's actually a thumb button on my mouse. It's my primary tricks macro, I've got a few on the side for alternate targets.

I don't think UI changes your skill, performance etc.

I personally use a custom UI, because I like creating my own look to the game, and also I find it easier to see things, eg. My player and Target unit frames being above my action bars, so it's close together.

I think people just get addons so it can give a more personal look.

But there are some that are, slightly for performance, like Omen, and Recount, which give you an idea how you are performing.

But overall, there, is nothing wrong with the normal UI if you find it fine to use.

I just prefer mine customised, as I think it looks nicer, and also, I can have things where I want them.
