Half-Life Megathread - Games

Two minutes before pushing a non-standard specimen into the scanning beam of the Anti-Mass Spectrometer for analysis and the geography of Gordon Freeman's life is about to change dramatically. Many of the familiar landmarks will remain—his best friend HEV suit greeting him after his morning tram ride; the subterranean research facility where he works with his colleagues; and the numerous ladders and elevators that connect him to his Anomalous Materials Lab in the bottom of bottomless Black Mesa. But when the military and aliens, perhaps, arrive unexpectedly, Gordon must learn that trouble sometimes has to rumble through a tidy world to make room for the kind of magical connections that make life worth surviving. Since 1998, this video game has won over 50 Game of the Year awards. I think this was a very good video game that helped me become more secure.
