The gamecube version of XIII had the best game mode ever (Each console had a different one) called the hunt. You and 15 others were chasing this death character, who would instantly kill you if he touched you. The trick was, ever time he was hit, he'd shrink and move faster, so you'd be chasing this mouse sized motherfucker around a map.
All while he was singing very loudly. God I miss that game.

XIII for ps2 had that game mode too, except with less players.

Yeah the idea is that they want to see how well this can spread via word of mouth rather than relying on people seeing it on the dashboard.
Yeah, the game will be released January next year, as a part of [url=http://blog.ilomilo.com/2010/12/ilomilo-announced-as-part-of-games-for-the-holidays/]"Games for the Holidays" pack.[/url] So getting the trial and buying it now means you get it way before it is officially out.
Since I love weird aesthetics in games (Psychonauts as a prime example), I got the trial. My girlfriend played it first, and after two levels she went on and bought it. Not been able to play it yet, but seeing her play it makes it seem very fun. The graphics are great, the music is really good and the puzzles also seem fun and ranges from easy to kinda tricky.
